Prolific connects eligible participants with research studies. Its participant page says qualifying studies appear on a dashboard with the payment, estimated duration, and task description visible before participation. Prolific also publishes a minimum researcher payment standard. Those are platform rules and company claims—not HonestV worker-outcome evidence.
UserTesting pays contributors to provide feedback while using websites, applications, prototypes, or other experiences. Its support materials state that payment amounts vary by test and that payments use a linked, verified PayPal account. A contributor may spend unpaid time on screeners without qualifying for a test.

A responsible first test
- Read the official eligibility, privacy, payment, and account rules.
- Complete no registration unless you are comfortable with the requested data.
- Track all setup, waiting, screening, active, and payment-administration time.
- Record money only when it is actually received.
- Stop if privacy requirements, availability, or effective hourly results do not fit your circumstances.
HonestV has not independently tested either platform and has no approved typical-earnings estimate. A legitimate research platform can still be unavailable or poor value for a particular person.
